[:en]Paklenica (Southern Velebit)[:]

[:en]The transfer to the entrance into the park, a walk through the canyon of Velika Paklenica. Because of its unique natural features, exquisite geo-morphological forms and magnificent forests the area of Velika and Mala Paklenica was proclaimed a national park in 1949. The basic reason for that was the protection of the most intact and largest forest area on the territory of Dalmatia.

The visit to the cave Manita peć is organized with a guide; the entrance into the cave is on about 550 meters above sea level. The length of the cave is 175 m and is divided into two halls plentiful with stalagmites and stalactites which are estimated to be 80,000 years old. We will visit nearby water springs and continue our walk through the canyon following the educational trail. After arriving into the village of Ramići, we will visit a family farm, have lunch and head back.
